Earlier this year on April 22nd, Bexco received certification as an approved manufacturer of offshore mooring and fibre rope assemblies in accordance with the latest DNV Offshore standard, DNV OS-E-303.
The DNV 0S-E-303 is one of the most stringent standards in the offshore industry and is obligatory in order to supply both temporary and permanent mooring solutions in the current and future offshore market.
The complete production process was analysed, documented and approved by DNV together with detailed approval testing of the offshore fibre rope mooring assemblies. The outcome was successful.
Bexco’s CCO Rudi Labeau received the certificate from DNV’s Antwerp-based Inspector Mr Steven Vlegels at the company’s manufacturing facility in Hamme, Belgium.
Rudi commented : “Thanks to excellent communication, collective effort and successful testing, the Bexco team can be proud to have received this certificate of approval from DNV, which is essential not only to our current Deltahouse and Hebron projects , but also other upcoming offshore projects in the pipeline”
